Editor X is the builder from Wix created for designers and agencies. It has a unique blend of responsive design and customizable features.
Ycode targets the same audience, houses similar features, and comes with added benefits like a native Airtable integration and project cloning.
All the features in Ycode's drag and drop editor are highly customizable and responsive. Realize your vision and build a powerful app in the WYSIWYG editor. You can also modify all of your design breakpoints and adapt them for specific screen sizes.
The entire layout of Editor X is built on the CSS grid system. Like Ycode, you can manage breakpoints and decide which elements are shown on which screen size. You can also save and reuse assets to create more custom design options.

This built-in feature is ideal for online courses or membership portals. Authentication is enabled with a single click in Ycode. Create automated emails for password reminders and tweak the designs of the automatically created signup and login pages (or build them from scratch).
The Members Area in Editor X allows web visitors to create an account and browse members-only sections. Basic member pages, a login bar, and signup and login forms are automatically created and can be adapted to your liking.

Dynamic content is super easy to use in Ycode. Work with either a local database or use the native Airtable integration to import data. Each element in your canvas can be dynamic (from buttons to text fields and images). Developers especially love the inline editor for database entries!
In Editor X, dynamic content is called a repeater—a collection of things with the same look and style. You can change the dynamic content of each repeater collection item individually, including photos and text, while the design remains the same. Update data manually or sync data using the content manager.

Workflows automate the way you work, and Ycode makes it really straightforward to create these sequences with their intuitive workflow builder. Enjoy a variety of triggers and action steps, to create simple to advanced workflows.
With Editor X, you can also create workflows that trigger a variety of actions. Unlike Ycode, building workflows is only available for no-code builders that are on a paid plan.

Build pages with the ready-to-use, responsive elements from the top panel. Save element combinations (including their design) as a component and insert them into your layout with one click for quick and easy template creation.
Drag elements, components, and entire sections into your layout using the Add panel feature. Responsive elements, custom states, and code all help you build your app. Unlike Ycode, Editor X's builder isn't that intuitive and can require some time to get used to.

When you're on a premium plan, you can add additional users to your account. For each user, you can assign user roles and permissions. You can also transfer projects to another account to change their ownership.

Ycode provides all the tools needed to generate clean, semantic code that results in fast website loads and mobile-friendly designs. You can set individual meta and social share data and create unique URL slugs for each page.
Editor X comes with similar SEO capabilities, including the ability to alter meta descriptions and URLs with ease. Like Ycode, the builder generates clean code, offers social sharing data, and lets you exclude your page from Google results.

You can connect Ycode to any external API and over 2000+ apps using the Zapier integration. The native Airtable integration makes it easy to connect and manage data for dynamic content.
Editor X features can be extended with apps that are available in the App Market. This makes it possible to add website features that aren't included in the builder itself.

Each project comes with a Ycode URL that is publicly accessible after a project is published. You can also purchase a domain name and connect it to Ycode. Hosting is safe, reliable, and includes SSL certificates. Backups are made automatically, though you can also make them manually.
All websites come with a free SSL certificate and are launched under a free Editor X domain. Custom domains are available, but only when you buy a premium plan. With the Site History feature, backups are made every time you save or publish your website.

Just getting started? Enjoy Ycode for free! Once you need more features, space, or team members to collaborate with, you can easily upgrade to a paid plan. There are project plans to add features and space, and account plans to invite people to your account.
Editor X also allows you to start building for free and then upgrade to a premium plan of your choice. There are two plan types: Website and Business & eCommerce plans. Paid plans allow you to add user seats. Note that free domains with premium plans are only free for one year.
