Canvas

Below you see the Layer sidebar on the left and the Canvas in the middle.

Layer sidebar

In this sidebar, you can see an overview of all the elements within your website, and their hierarchy. The top-level elements are positioned at the far right and the indents show how elements are nested within each other.

You can move elements by dragging them to a different position. A blue line indicates you’ll drop it between other elements, and a blue border means it’ll be nested within.

When you select an item and right-click, a menu will appear that shows a few different options:

  • Copy ⌘/Control + C

  • Paste ⌘/Control + V

  • Duplicate ⌘/Control + D

  • Copy style

  • Paste style

  • Rename layer

  • Delete

  • Create component

Canvas

Your canvas is your workspace. It’s where you’ll see your design come to life in real time!

To edit blocks, select them directly inside your canvas or from the Layers sidebar. You can then use the sidebar on the right to edit the Design and Settings.

Right-click on any element to open a menu with the following options:

  • Copy ⌘/Control + C

  • Paste ⌘/Control + V

  • Duplicate ⌘/Control + D

  • Copy style

  • Paste style

  • Rename layer

  • Delete

  • Create component
