The layer styles can be found in the design panel on the right in your Ycode canvas. Here’s where you can jazz up elements like titles, paragraphs and give them their own style.
You can also set default styles that can be applied to all your H1s, for example. These headings will then all have the same typography, font size, etc.
Updating global styles
Select the element type to update
Modify the style
In the Layer style menu, click on Update global style
Note: If you update global styles, it will apply to all the concerned elements. To revert the edit, click Reset style overrides.
Creating new styles
Select the element type to edit
Update the style
In the Layer style menu, click on Save as new style
Renaming styles
Select the element type with the custom style
Go to Layer style menu and click on Rename style
Give the style a custom name, for example H3 style
Saving additional styles
Do you want to use more than one style for the same element? You can! For example, you can have two different styles for a H2.
Select the element type which style you want to create
Modify the style
In Layer style menu, click on Save as new style
Give it a custom name
Now you have two styles for the same element type.
Detaching elements from styles
Select the element you want to detach from the layer style
Modify the style
In Layer style menu, click on Detach from style
Apply styles to other element types
Select the element which style you want to edit
In Layer style menu, select the style name you want to apply. For example, you can apply a Section title style to a Page subtitle. The Page subtitle then inherits the Section title style
