Add Meta Pixel to your website

How to add Meta Pixel to your site

1. Create a Meta Business account

If you don’t have one yet, visit Meta Business Suite and create your account.

2. Access Events Manager

  • Open Meta Business Suite and go to All Tools in the left-hand menu.

  • Select Events Manager from the list.

  • Click Connect Data Sources, and a popup will appear.

3. Set up Meta Pixel

  • Choose Web as your data source.

  • Enter your Ycode website URL and proceed.

  • Select Do it yourself, then choose Meta Pixel.

4. Install the base code

  • Copy the base code provided by Meta.

  • In Ycode, navigate to Settings → Custom Code.

  • Paste the code inside the Header.

  • Save changes and publish your website.

5. Set up events

  • Use Meta's Event Setup Tool to define specific events like Add to Cart, View Content, or Sign Up.

  • Enter your live site URL in the tool and select buttons or links to track.

6. Test events

  • Go to Test Events in Events Manager.

  • Enter your published website URL and test event tracking.

  • Ensure ad blockers are disabled for accurate results.

Event data will appear in real-time, but analytics may take up to 30 minutes to fully update in your Meta dashboard. Once everything is connected, event activity will be visible in the Activity section.
