How to set up Google Analytics

Adding Google Analytics to your Ycode site is simple. Follow these steps:

1. Create a Google Analytics Account. If you don’t have one, sign up on the Google Analytics website.

2. Set Up a Property. Follow the setup instructions and copy the Measurement ID provided.

3. Add the Measurement ID to Ycode

   • Open your project in Ycode.

   • Click Settings (gear icon) in the left sidebar.

   • In the General , find SEO settings.

   • Paste your Measurement ID into the Google Analytics Measurement ID field.

4. Save your changes, then publish your site to activate tracking.

Important:
Google Analytics 4 doesn’t store IP addresses, so IP anonymization isn’t needed. Ensure GDPR compliance when using analytics tools.
