How to use schema markup

Schema markup is a type of structured data that helps search engines understand the content of your site. It adds extra information to your pages—such as articles, products, reviews, or events—that can appear as rich snippets in search results, making your content more visible and engaging.

Structured data on CMS pages

You can use schema markup on CMS pages by pulling data from Collection fields. For example, dynamic fields like {{Name}} can be used to automatically insert content into your schema. This means you don’t have to manually update each page—schema data is filled in using variables from your Collection.

For a blog post Collection, for instance, you can set up schema to automatically include dynamic data like {{Title}}, {{Author}}, and {{PublishDate}}. This allows search engines to better understand the content of each page, improving your SEO and the chances of your pages showing up with enhanced search results.
