Requirements and browser support
Ycode websites are designed to work seamlessly with modern web browsers, providing a smooth user experience. Below are the detailed requirements and compatibility notes for using and publishing Ycode websites.
Supported Browsers
Ycode generally supports the latest versions of major browsers, including (minimum versions shown by “+”):
Safari 15+ and iOS 15+ (WebKit)
Chrome 87+ and Edge 87+ (Blink engine), which also includes:
Opera 73+ and Opera Mobile 73+
Samsung Internet 14+
Other Chromium-based browsers (version 87 and above, such as Brave 1.17+, Android browser, Vivaldi, Yandex, etc.)

For the best experience, ensure your browser is current. All operating systems that support the browser versions listed above are compatible with Ycode.
If you face cross-browser compatibility issues or your audience uses browsers that differ significantly from the standard, please get in touch with us or browse through our help center.
Note: As Ycode evolves, we focus on supporting the latest CSS features to improve your creative options. Some advanced features may not work with older browsers. They may use backups, such as polyfills, which can cause minor changes in the layout or function.
JavaScript
JavaScript must be enabled in your browser for Ycode websites to function correctly. Disabling JavaScript may result in broken layouts or missing functionality.
Internet Connection
A broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 5 Mbps is recommended. Slower connections may impact loading times and overall site performance.
Custom Code Support
Ycode allows you to add custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to your projects. Please note:
Adding custom code is considered an advanced modification. We may not directly support these modifications.
We do not support server-side languages (such as PHP, Python, Ruby, and Perl) in custom code sections.
File Format Support
Images: Ycode supports .webp images but does not support .avif.
Fonts: Ycode supports .ttf font files and .woff and .woff2 formats.
Mobile and Tablet Support & Minimum Screen Size
Ycode websites have breakpoints and are fully responsive. They can adapt to various screen sizes and have no minimum screen size.
Additional Notes
While Ycode is very customizable, specific requirements may vary depending on the complexity of your website and the features you implement.
For optimal performance and compatibility, regularly update your browser and operating system.
