January updates 2024

Ycode team

Hey Ycoders!

I'd like to share some exciting updates about the improvements we've made to Ycode in January 2024. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect from the latest updates:

Better workflow, assets and components performance

Ycode has now much faster performance for workflows, assets and components. Workflows can be created instantly just by typing a name and hitting enter. Folders are also added right away in the file manager. Editing components is now significantly faster too. This makes building workflows and managing assets much faster.

New variable overrides

Our new variables allow you to set up override options for yourself or users editing a site. You can designate things like links, text, and other element properties as variables. Editor mode users can then customize those parts of a project without affecting the master.

Here's the tutorial:

New count field for collections

You can now add count fields for collection types like blog categories. This lets you display the number of items in each category or collection to site visitors. It's great for showing users how many templates, posts, or other items are in each collection or category.

These exciting updates are geared towards optimizing your Ycode experience and empowering you with tools to bring your creative visions to life. Stay tuned for more detailed tutorials and demonstrations on how to make the most of these new features in upcoming episodes.

Happy "coding", and we look forward to sharing more updates with you soon!
