Disconnecting integrations
Disconnecting integrations in Ycode lets you safely remove connections between your website and third-party services, APIs, databases, or embedded content. This helps maintain project security, reduce unwanted automation, and manage your workflows more efficiently.
When to Disconnect Integrations
Consider disconnecting integrations when:
You no longer need the connected service or functionality.
You're troubleshooting persistent integration issues.
Credentials or API keys have changed or become compromised.
You want to avoid hitting service rate limits or encountering security risks.
How to Disconnect an Integration
To remove connections, follow these steps:
Access Integration Settings:
Go to your project dashboard and navigate to Managing Integration Settings. Here, you’ll see a list of all active integrations.Locate the Relevant Integration:
Find the API, webhook, external database, or embedded content you want to disconnect.Disable or Remove the Connection:
APIs: Remove API tokens or disconnect via the Using APIs settings.
Webhooks: Delete or deactivate webhooks in the Setting Up Webhooks area.
Databases: Disconnect or edit database connections in Connecting to External Databases.
Embedded Content: Remove embedded elements in Embedding External Content.
Confirm Removal:
Save your changes and test your site to ensure the integration is completely removed and no residual automation or data leaks remain.
